Our club’s goal is to reclaim the award for the best performed club overall, something we have achieved many times over the years. We hope you will be keen to work towards that goal, whether as a player, as a coach, as a manager, as an administrator or as a supporter of the club. New players are welcome.

In 2010 we have a number of fundraising initiatives planned and we would like your help. It may only be a two hour stint manning a BBQ, or maybe joining a fundraising committee to help organise a 'one off' event. New ideas and a fresh approach are always welcome!

If you can help us out in any small way please email Brigid Ritchie or call 0417 526 101. Please don't put it off; your support will make a huge difference. And remember: 'The more you put into life, the more you get out of it!'

PRESIDENT’'S CORNER  Tim Brownlow
Well that's it, done and dusted for another season. Congratulations to the 4th Grade Men on a nail biting win to secure their second Premiership in three years. Well done to all the Teams that played finals this year. I'd like to thank all our Members of the Club for your patience in what has a difficult year with the Number One Turf being out of action. A special thanks to the Committee for another stellar job. You would not believe the work that goes on in the background to not only ensure that we have Teams on the Turf but the Club continues to be in a secure financial position now and into the future. I hope to see everyone at the AGM on the 11th November. If you don't want to or cannot be on the Committee this is your opportunity to have your say. Again thank you all and I hope to see everyone at the AGM.

prince of wales wellington presents...

CLOSING NIGHT: the end of season celebrations

saturday the 19th of september

7.30pm onwards

the lower house

dress: neat casual and beyond

light finger food provided

this is the night for your team to get together for one last night of mayhem. there is no more training, there are no more games, and as such, there are NO MORE EXCUSES for missing a club night at the lower house.

it's a great chance for each team to swap silly presents, collect fines, present awards that aren't given at the dinner, or complete any other team specific things you do as a group. i put it on each of you to encourage your team mates and friends to come along, so forward this email (it wont hurt people to get it two or three times), get on the msg or phone calls, send facebooks... whatever it takes to get a good turnout. if you haven't attended any/many functions this year, now is the time to change that.

lowerhouse

also, this is the final night for you to purchase dinner tickets. the dinner with be held on saturday the 17th of october, tickets will be sold at a cost of $55, and must be purchased by the 19th to avoid missing out. so bring your cash :)
